So a little bit about me, my name is Malak Morsi, I was born and raised on the coastal city of the Mediterranean Sea Alexandria, Egypt. I moved to NYC at the age of 12 alongside my childhood cat Simba (RIP) who traveled continents with me. My first few years in the U.S. were a bit challenging as I was adapting to the new culture and trying to fit in my new home. Being creative has always been an escape for me in those adjusting years. I would always find myself creating silly home videos with my sister of random skits we’d come up with together. Nowadays in my free time, you can find me crocheting (It's my new obsession). My love of freedom was found in being creative. I ended up going to a TV and film high school where I learned all about film production from pre-production to post-production.
After high school, I found my way into FIT for Advertising & Digital Design where I got to explore my creative side even more. I love storytelling in all its shapes and forms and I love being able to do so as a creative through impactful stories in advertising and commercials.
